She spins a web of fantasies and gets entangled in them,
Web working as a safety net, for all the adventures that stem.
From touring far away lands, exotic locations, soaking everything in,
Crystal clear water, rising mountains, flora and fauna that hearts win.
Oceans of gold and sky of silver, ships of clouds sailing over,
with treasures of stars, planets and moon seeming closer and closer.
Canyons, meandering rivers, volcanoes fuming smoke,
Sunrises and sunsets weaving fabulous lores of folk.
The world, a small place for her, fitting well into her collection of pictures.
A box full of photographs, a gallery filled with shares.
An ardent virtual traveller that she is, photos are her imagination’s fuel,
Threading pearls of memories together to form poetic jewels.
Hiding behind mountains of words,
Or dams of silence,
Outbursts of emotions.
Harbouring the electric energy,
Dangerous for sure,
Mend the cracks,
Lone guardian of the limitless ocean.
Helping sailors in navigation.
Away from dangerous reefs and coastlines.
Towards safe harbour’s confines.
The guiding light to the ships.
Braving endless journeys & trips.
Bellower of the mighty warning horns.
During treacherous, thunderous storms.
Protector of tired sailors’ last hope.
Encouraging them to cope.
In the darkness of moonless nights.
With merciful bright lights.
Standing tall for centuries till now.
Withstanding nature’s fury somehow.
Constant companion to loneliness of Moon.
Like a friend, a boon.
Witness to miracles of nature everyday.
It is there to Stay.
Cool clouds embrace the warmth of the setting Sun golden, turning the ocean to liquid molten.
White froth of the waves, slither on the golden sand, quenching its thirst again and again.
Coyly hiding within the descending dusk, ever evasive horizon waits for the sky to rush.
To hold on to it one last time before they merge, for a while only to re-emerge.
Last impression of the Sun floats on the ocean like gold, time slips away quietly, difficult to hold.
Sunshine withers away slowly, fading the sight, can hardly fathom the beholder’s immense delight.
Dusk finally descends, engulfing sky and horizon as one. When one cannot be made out from another.
Only Dawn has the magical key to separate them again. When the Sunlight ignites the sky and ocean, and boundaries remain…till dusk again.

The sky is getting clearer, clouds beginning to disperse with winds of change.
The wind is getting cooler, Sun beginning to shine more often over mountain range.
Days, evenings not somber anymore, grays converting into vibrant landscapes.
Wetness drying up, no more downpours, colours popping up like lady’s drapes.
Relief from heat, break from the rains. Seems like the Earth is ready to exhale.
Bunches of red, contrasting with greens of leaves.
Little flower umbrellas, sheltering insects from grieves.
Cool September breeze, giving respite from the heat.
Making flowers blossom, getting ready for Autumn greet.
Veteran leaves turning yellow, saying goodbyes ready to let go.
Magic of Autumn hiding within each fold, forests waiting to transform in motion slow.
Brilliant white surfaces when washed with rain water.
With just a hint of yellow to break the monotony.
Facing ,turning towards the Sun.
Soaking up the warmth after a wet humid spree.
Dragon fly resting peacefully, unaware of the beauty around it.
Green leaves, waiting for their turn to take center stage.
